Director @ Bond Bryan Digital

Rob is an Director, ARB registered Architect and is a member of the Bond Bryan Digital team located in our Sheffield (UK) studio. Rob’s background is as a project architect and he has worked on a range of education and advanced manufacturing projects before moving into his current role. Projects have included schemes for Wirral Metropolitan College, West Cheshire College, Blackpool College and Sheffield University. Rob has extensive knowledge of current industry BIM standards, processes and builds all of our office templates. Acknowledged across the industry as a leading advocate of openBIM standards (including IFC and COBie), Rob regularly speaks at conferences both nationally and internationally, and authors our award-winning BIM Blog. He is also on the main committee of the AEC (UK) BIM Protocol group and is chair of the sub-committee for GRAPHISOFT ARCHICAD. As well as BIM he has a keen interest in wider office standards and standard approaches to documentation. These skills have been employed to assist the office in gaining certification for BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO14001 and BS OHAS 18001. He has also been involved in the successful implementation and development of our office intranet (known as The HUB) and also contributes to our development as a business by providing training on a number of subjects.
