This small two-bedroom home was designed as a holiday home for a family. An experimental project investigating pre-fabricated construction techniques to shorten the construction duration on Macleay Island. The house provides open parking for cars and boats, with a multi-purpose living space and bedroom on the ground floor. The first floor is elevated to capture views of North Stradbroke Island to the east.

Nathan was engaged to continue the Master Plan work that he had begun when he was at Fulton Trotter. The Master Plan takes into consideration the needs of the local club and Baseball Queensland.
Pine Hills Baseball Club stadium
Pine Hills Baseball Club stadium redesign

Skewed was engaged to produce a concept plan for a new boutique stadium at Pine Hills Baseball Club. The stadium was designed to cater for hosting ABL games and to host touring training camps of international baseball teams.
As the facilities were primarily used for the local baseball club Pine Hills, the design needed to be low maintenance, to reduce operational costs. It was designed so it could function effectively for club events, or expand and operate for ABL games with up to 2,500 people in attendance, with additional catering and amenities facilities being able to be bumped in without impacting weekly club use.

Skewed was engaged to design a new luxury residence that embraced Brisbane's sub-tropical climate as an entertainer. Positioned at the top of a new sub-division the house provides connected indoor living spaces to an expansive outdoor entertaining area to enable large family gatherings.

Skewed were engaged to provide design and documentation services for the extension and renovation of the existing residence.
The brief was to expand the living space of the existing residence, and to provide a new outdoor entertaining area that overlooked the existing pool and tennis court.
The living room extension extrudes the existing roof line, stepping down to bring the living space closer to the existing pool, and opens up to the lawn area. The pool house together with the renovation to the pool, provides an oasis for the family to live throughout the year, and entertain their guests.
